PEB Execution Process

PEB Execution Process

Design and Engineering: The first step is to develop the design and engineering plans for the PEB. This includes determining the building’s dimensions, layout, structural requirements, and load-bearing capacity.

Fabrication of Components: Once the design is finalized, the components of the PEB are fabricated in a controlled factory environment. This includes manufacturing columns, beams, roof panels, wall panels, and other structural elements according to the design specifications.

Site Preparation: The construction site is prepared by clearing the area, leveling the ground, and ensuring proper drainage. Foundation work is carried out, which may involve excavation, footing installation, and concrete pouring. The foundation provides a stable base for the PEB structure.

Transportation and Delivery: The fabricated components of the PEB are transported from the factory to the construction site. Careful planning and coordination are required to ensure timely delivery and proper handling of the components.

Assembly and Installation: On-site, the PEB components are assembled and installed according to the design plans. This involves connecting the columns, beams, and other structural elements using bolted connections or welding techniques. Roof panels, wall panels, and other cladding materials are also installed during this stage.

MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Works: Once the main structure is erected, MEP works are carried out. This includes installing electrical wiring, plumbing systems, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, and other utilities required for the building’s functionality.

Finishing and Interior Works: After the structural and MEP works are completed, finishing touches are added to the building. This includes applying exterior finishes, such as paint or cladding, and interior finishes, such as flooring, ceiling, partitions, and fixtures.

Testing and Commissioning: Various tests are conducted to ensure the functionality and safety of the building systems. This includes checks on electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety systems, and HVAC systems. Any necessary adjustments or corrections are made to ensure everything is in proper working order.

Handover and Occupancy: Once all the necessary inspections and approvals are obtained, the PEB building is handed over to the client or owner for occupancy and use.
